Lenormand Yes or No
Hold a question that can be answered with yes or no, focus on it, and choose one card.
How the Lenormand yes or no reading works
Every one of the 36 cards carries its own answer: yes, no or maybe. You draw a single card from a freshly shuffled deck, and that card’s answer is your verdict, with a short explanation of why. Lenormand cards are never read reversed, so each card always gives the same answer; what changes is which card you draw.
Which cards say yes, no or maybe?
Yes (21 cards): Rider, Clover, Ship, House, Tree, Bouquet, Child, Stars, Stork, Dog, Garden, Heart, Ring, Man, Woman, Lily, Sun, Moon, Key, Fish and Anchor.
No (8 cards): Snake, Coffin, Scythe, Whip, Fox, Mountain, Mice and Cross.
Maybe (7 cards): Clouds, Birds, Bear, Tower, Crossroads, Book and Letter.
Good questions to ask
Keep it concrete and closed: “Will I hear back this week?”, “Is this apartment a good choice?”, “Should I take the offer?”. Avoid double questions and questions that ask for a date. If your question is open, a three-card Lenormand reading gives you a full sentence instead of a single word.
What “maybe” means
A maybe is not a dodge. It means the answer depends on something that has not happened yet, such as a decision, a conversation or a missing piece of information. The card’s explanation tells you what. The Birds, for example, answer maybe because the outcome depends on a conversation that still has to take place.
The Lenormand yes or no reading is for entertainment; please do not make health, legal or financial decisions based on a card.
